Join Us as We Celebrate 10 Years of Effective Ministry to San Antonio, the Nation, and the World
We hope you find your time spent here on our website a blessing. Please browse through the various areas to learn about this exciting congregation. We invite you to join us, expecting to CONNECT, ENGAGE and EXPERIENCE OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN as we continue with our mission to carry-out our Savior last commandment found in Matthew 28:18-20 KJV, and go and SEEK the unchurched amongst us; introducing them to SALVATION through Christ our Savior and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To expose all who enter our doors to the TRUTH through effective teaching of God’s Word. To SERVE the homeless, the poor, orphans, widows and strangers amongst us and make them disciples for Christ and then SEND these very men and women into all nations, with their primary purpose being that of making disciples of all men!
New Covenant Family Church is a Bible-based, Christ centered, Holy Ghost inspired, family-friendly, multi-cultural, grace-based assembly of believers, that warmly embraces everyone, especially the most hurting and broken amongst us. As a matter of fact, our mission is especially geared toward the unchurched. You don't have to be "religious" or a "church-goer" to be a full part of our church community. With that said, we are a family church that believes that "Families That Pray And Worship Together-Will Stay Together".
If you are new to this area and would like to become a part of this holy assembly, the best first step for you, is to attend our Sunday Morning Worship Service at 11:15 AM in our church sanctuary or our mid-week Thursday evening Bible Study, held in our sanctuary at 6:30 PM. Our Thursday evening Bible Study service consist of the unadulterated teaching of God’s Word, done without compromise. At each of these services, you’ll be warmly greeted and given a bulletin, with a brief description of the day’s worship or Bible Study service, along with a list of upcoming activities at New Covenant.
Our Sunday worship service always begins with effectual prayer, uplifting, irresistible praise and worship music from a variety of Christian sources, followed by an inspirational, faith-building, Bible-based message. Although worship will be over around 12:30noon, we encourage you to hang around with your new friends afterwards. We have open holy communion (The Lord’s Supper) on first Sundays of each month.
Here at New Covenant Family Church, we also believe prayer is very important for our church and that is why every morning, beginning at 6:00AM, we gather together for our online "Morning Glory" prayer service. Saints from around the nation call in to our "FREE" prayer line, where we specifically take time to pray for one another, the church, the world we live in, our nation and its leaders. If you need prayer for any type of physical, mental, or spiritual healing, we urge you to join us for prayer by calling (267) 807-9605 and when prompted input the access code 768149#.
Finally, be sure to check our calendar page for upcoming events. Please let us know if you have any questions. We would love to answer them.
One of life’s most beautiful words is FAMILY. At New Covenant Family Church, we take seriously the Bible’s teaching that Christians are the family of God and therefore brothers and sisters in Christ. As a "Family of Faith" we seek to worship and serve God, through obedience to God’s commandments, effectual, fervent prayer, and irresistible Praise and Worship. We believe that families that “Pray and Worship Together – Stay Together.
You’re cordially invited to join with us as we share the good news of the gospel message, and provide the spiritual environment necessary for the believer’s spiritual growth. We invite you and your family to experience the joy and excitement of the New Covenant Family Church family. Our church has gained a reputation as a friendly and caring fellowship, and we would welcome the opportunity to show you why. We would be honored to have you in any of our praise and worship services or other activities. We are extremely happy that you are visiting our new website experience and if you are looking for a church home, we believe New Covenant Family Church is the place for you!

Your monetary gifts to our mission fund, allows us to carryout the commission given to us by our Lord and Savior Yeshua HaMashiach to take the Gospel to all nations.
Thank you for being a part of bringing souls into the Kingdom of God.
The purpose of NCFC’s Health and Wellness ministry is to support the vision and ministry of the church through health education, prevention and awareness. As families come together around the Word of God, it is also the role of the church to make sure that families stay united. The health and wellness ministry would unite families in a ministry of the body as well as the spirit.
Hope and healing are essential in the life of faith. Hope is what keeps us going everyday. Hope is also the focus of our physical wellbeing. Whether we are blessed with good health or illness, hope performs a major role in our existence. Hope can be expressed as a desire for healing. God's will is for everyone to be of good health. This affords everyone with the opportunity to serve Him and to service humanity. God's grace and mercy provides us with blessings and it is the faith that God suffers with us that unites families in times of healing.

Greetings! The Helping Hands Food Pantry is providing food boxes every Tuesday at New Covenant Family Centers. in celebration of our mission to feed the hungry and clothe the naked, and own abundant spirit in the Cross Creek community, every box will have a variety of wholesome and nutritious foods, including gift certificates for you and your family.
Every Monday evening volunteers from across San Antonio, gather together to prepare these boxes for distribution to the needy in this area. We welcome these volunteers and donations, and you can e-mail Bishop Juanita Wells Morris, our coordinator, at jwmorris1@hotmail.com if you can provide volunteer time or assistance!
We are constantly trying to determine how we can better serve our community, and we welcome your ideas and suggestions. Peace too you and your loved ones and let us know if we can help at all in any way. We are grateful that you are a part of our community.
Helping Hands provides food boxes every Tuesday between the hours of 10am and 12 noon. If you wish to donate a food to this Pantry, during our holiday food drives, you can use our donation form or you can contact us via email to find out what you need to do. We can use fresh foods for the food boxes, especially things like rice, beans, onions, carrots, potatoes, spices, herbs, flour, sugar, and so on that won't go bad in a day or two. We also have freezer and refrigerator space at the pantry, so juice, meats, eggs, frozen foods, etc. are okay for ongoing needs. One of the things needed the most are non-food items, such as: paper products, household items, personal hygiene items, etc. You can also take a lot to see what items people have suggested that they need.
Donations can be dropped off at any time in the donation bin just inside the front door of the New Covenant Family Cathedral.
To make things easy to donate a food basket, items or money, we provide the forms for downloading below. Note: The holiday specific forms will be updated each season with the current years version.
All forms are in PDF format. Free Adobe PDF readers can be downloaded from Adobe.
Often people just don't know what to get or what is appropriate. To make it easy we provide a variety of sample lists that you can use like a regular shopping list. Below are some of the lists we have used for our regular food distribution.
One of the things needed the most are non-food items, such as: paper products, household items, personal hygiene items, etc.
Helping Hands Food Pantry will also accept gift certificates, as well as cash donations, which are tax deductible. Checks can be made out to the Helping Hands Food Pantry or the New Covenant Family Cathedral.
Every year we have three major food drives - Thanksgiving, Winter Holiday and Earth Day (April). This is a great time to donate items. These food drives are done in partnership with the Covenant Christian Children’s Homes of Texas, and The Ekklesia Worldwide Communion and Missionary Societies.
We have been blessed to receive regular weekly donations from the San Antonio Food Bank and The Daily Bread Ministries. Those donations, combined with other food rescue operations and donations, provide food to keep our shelves reasonably well stocked.
With that said, every Tuesday, we will have fresh food available for distribution from 10:00AM-12:00Noon, and we will have fresh food that needs to be distributed available on a first come, first serve basis.
The Helping Hands Food pantry is active in taking part in the Food Bank of San Antonio Retail Food Rescue programs. Food Rescue (Aka Food Recovery) Food rescue, is the "practice of safely retrieving edible food that would otherwise go to waste, and distributing it to those in need. The recovered food is edible, but often not saleable. Products that are at or past their "sell by" dates or are imperfect in any way – a bruised apple or day-old bread – are donated by grocery stores, food vendors, restaurants, and farmers markets. Other times, the food is unblemished, but restaurants may have made or ordered too much, or may have edible pieces of food (such as scraps of fish or meat) that are byproducts of process of preparing foods to cook and serve. In addition, food manufacturers may donate product that marginally fails quality control or that has become short-dated."
The Helping Hands Food pantry is proud to be expanding our food rescue operations, and is very grateful to the following local businesses for their generosity in Helping Hands Food Pantry "feed the hungry and clothing the naked."
We are perpetually in need of volunteers to help with this aspect of our operation. Please contact Bishop Juanita W. Morris if you can help us out!
